OUR IMPACT

The Everett Program and Digital NEST Impactathon Project seeks to explore how tech learning within the frame of social justice will motivate and build the confidence of underrepresented youth to pursue futures in technology. Our 2-year grant from the National Science Foundation enabled us to partner with outside evaluators to assess our impact. Together we conducted 156 pre-surveys, 96 post-surveys, and 21 extensive post-impactathon interviews with both our participants and facilitators to compile our data. The numbers below reflect our insights from across 6 Everett Impactathons in partnership with the Digital NEST from 2018 to 2020.
